We stayed here for a week on business. The hotel is very well appointed, with clean, attractive rooms, good internet connectivity and a generator to weather the inevitable power outages that are part of life in Ghana these days. Breakfast and dinner were both great with tasty Ghanaian dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. All in all a great base of operations for a short business trip. Recommended.
For about $100 a night, this is great value for a hotel pretty much in the heart of bar and restaurant laden Osu district. Room was immaculate, with great service from entire staff. Oxford Street is about a 10 minute walk from here, which is nice since it gets a bit nasty late a night in that area so nice to be off the main drag (take a taxi home I would advise). Great breakfast (included) as well.
The Green Oak is a perfect small hotel tucked away very near to Oxford Street in the Osu region of Accra. The hotel has very friendly staff, the rooms are exceptionally clean and the wifi is excellent! It ticks all my boxes, especially the constant supply of hot water and excellent air conditioning. The bathroom even had the best tiling I’ve seen in Ghana. Its a perfect quiet location, about 15 minutes drive from the airport and close to a lot of central Accra. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast is very tasty. I highly recommend the Green Oak, a friendly and well kept hotel.
I stayed with my family over the christmas holidays at the Green Oak hotel, and had a wonderful time. The staff are so friendly and the hotel is comfortable, very clean with all that we could ask for. For an affordable, peaceful, place in the city, I reccomend it for anyone. Very nice.
This hotel is set up a quiet nbhd and i is very close the Oxford strt. It is very clean with good staff and a very good breakfast. The rate is also friendly. I stayed here because it is very close to the UN offices in Accra. Therefore it would be very convenient for people traveling for business with interest near Accra central, Airport, Oxford street and Ring road East.
